How to run
a league.
Six steps, start to finish. The same steps whether your league runs in an office or a housing society.
Before you start
- 🙋 One host. Usually HR, an admin, or an RWA committee member.
- 🗓️ A start date, and a room for 30 minutes on Opening Day.
- 🔢 A rough headcount. Teams are sized from it.
- 🏆 A budget for trophies, if you want physical ones.
01Configure the league5 minutes
You do
- ✓Answer 5 questions: headcount, focus, duration, how teams are formed.
- ✓Pick the daily activities and the minimum target for each.
MFL does
- ✓Builds the teams, the schedule and the challenge calendar.
- ✓Generates the join link and the league page.
02Get everyone signed up1–2 days
You do
- ✓Share the join link on WhatsApp, email, or the notice board.
- ✓Chase the stragglers once. One reminder is usually enough.
MFL does
- ✓Signs players in from the browser — no app store, no IT ticket.
- ✓Balances the teams as people join.
03Run Opening DayWeek 1 · 30 min
You do
- ✓Reveal the teams live. Nobody knows their team until their name is called.
- ✓Let each team vote a captain, pick a name, a colour and a war cry.
- ✓Explain how points work and start the first challenge.
MFL does
- ✓Puts jerseys, names and teams in the app as they are assigned.
- ✓Opens the leaderboard the moment the first activity is logged.
04Keep the daily rhythmEvery day
You do
- ✓Almost nothing. Watch the dashboard once or twice a week.
MFL does
- ✓Reminds players, scores activities, updates the leaderboard live.
- ✓Coaches each player personally and flags teams that are slipping.
05Drop the challengesEvery week
You do
- ✓Confirm the challenge the AI League Manager suggests, or pick your own.
- ✓Set the rules, the proof, and the points if you want to change them.
MFL does
- ✓Announces it, reminds everyone, collects the proof, awards the points.
06Grande Finale & Awards CeremonyFinale day
You do
- ✓Book the room, order the trophies, decide the award categories.
- ✓Hand them out. All teams on stage.
MFL does
- ✓Locks the standings and produces the awards list.
- ✓Issues a season card and a League Finisher Certificate to every player.
